To start with, this article is somewhat like a very sensitive topic. Because, we all know nowadays gays and lesbians are increasing in numbers in our society. Although it's not really that bad, but as what discussed above, relationships between these people do really exists nowadays, which for somebody consider this as a social issue or a problem. We may have no right to judge these people, but for me as a traditional conservative Christian Filipino, it truly affects our moral and culutral values.

So if i we're a lawmaker, i have no problem with gay and gay relationships or lesbian and lesbian relationships, because that is their lives and not mine. But to consider it as a marriage relationship or a legal same sex marriage, i would probably won't allow them to get married and get legal documents. Because, if getting married is being sacred, then how would you consider two guys or two girls getting married as a sacred matter. Oh come on people! God did not made mankind like a guy to act like girls do and a girl acting like boys do. We'll im not trying to be racist, but we Filipinos need not to be compared to other countries or other nationalities about this issue. Because, it's just simple if they allowed same sex marriage then it reflects on their society that they lack moral and spiritual values. And going back on being a lawmaker, íf you know that a certain matter negatively affects the society then why would you make an action to allow the existence of the said issue such as the "same sex marriage relationship". So i hope people will understand that there will always be a limitations for people and for the different things in life.

Allowing same-sex marriage is going beyond the primary meaning of marriage itself in the religious context. Basically, marriage is set to unite two individuals of the opposite sex to create a family. If we speak of a family, it is composed of a mother, a father, and a child. And when the said proposition will be put into legalization and will be accepted, what kind of family will the same-sex couple could provide in the society?. Provided that they can have kids with the help of science, what kind of parents will they be? A mother-mother? A father-father? As a Filipino citizen, I don’t think that agreeing to such will give benefit to our country. It will be of no help in the preservation and development of our culture which values much in the so called “family” and “conservatism”. Also, giving credit to this “same-sex marriage” thing is going against the will of God. As a part of a Christian country, we should be reminded that God created man for woman, not man for man and woman for woman.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but lets admit it with the daily advertisements shown by media we can't stop ourselves from conforming to what the society quote as “BEAUTIFUL”. The physical aspects of a person contributes bigger in her as a whole, especially in career. Status quo shows that more and more Filipinos are obsessed in his/her physical renovation. To prove, the medical industry in relation to beauty is a hit for the past years.

I guess it's up for them to do whatever they may want to do with their lives. If they have money, then why not? If it will boost their confidence then good for them. But for me, personally, it's a matter of grooming. I don't have to change myself, as in major renovation as a whole. It is because I prioritized first what must be prioritized. I trained myself to study and work. Maybe physically you're absolutely gorgeous but it is not beauty that makes you last. It is how you deal with your work and co-workers. There will come a time that beauty will no longer be relevant but the learnings are indeed relevant. I believe that we must do our best to conform with God's ways and not the other way around. God will judge us not by looks but how we live with the means of dealing and making the best out of what He has given us.

Beauty is not just about the physical aspect but it is dealt more with the inner that is incomparable. Let's make the best out of life. It doesn't mean changing yourself, physically and maybe personality wise. But it means improving yourself as to how you will live by what God would want.

I agree with you ma'am that teaching Philippines history is part of our life since we are Filipinos. As what a had remember the History of the Philippines is believed to have begun with the arrival of the first humans via land bridges at least 30,000 years ago. The first recorded visit from the West is the arrival of Ferdinand Magellan on Homonhon Island, southeast of Samar on March 16, 1521. The Philippine Revolution against Spain began in April 1896, culminating two years later with a proclamation of independence and the establishment of the First Philippine Republic. However, the Treaty of Paris, at the end of the Spanish-American War, transferred control of the Philippines to the United States. This agreement was not recognized by the Philippine Government which, on June 2, 1899, proclaimed a Declaration of War against the United States. The Philippine-American War which ensued resulted in massive casualties. Filipino leader Emilio Aguinaldo was captured in 1901 and the U.S. government declared the conflict officially over in 1902. The Filipino leaders, for the most part, accepted that the Americans had won, but hostilities continued until 1913. U.S. colonial rule of the Philippines started in 1905 with very limited local rule. Partial autonomy (commonwealth status) was granted in 1935, preparatory to a planned full independence from the United States in 1946. Preparation for a fully sovereign state was interrupted by the Japanese occupation of the islands during World War II. We must be faithfully know the history of our lives to till to anybody that we are true Filipino's. thats all ma'am thank you..... have a nice day.....

Education plays a very important role in making my life in the future as complete and fulfilling as possible...well well well, studying Philippine history is a little bit boring but in the other side of it Philippine history subject helps me a lot..In history, you could read about the different conquests of people, different individuals with different goals.History is very important because it helps us learn about what worked well and what did not.If something worked really well in the past, then we are likely to repeat the same action. However, if the action in the past did not work well, then we can learn from the mistake. We can either change the action or not ever do it again.
I love to learn new ideas. I know history subject is important that it helps us understand the world better. It helps us understand why things are happening and history can help us solve problems today..and have bright plans for my future..=)
Finally history is very interesting. it is very interesting to see how things have either evolved or change over time. therefore, history is very important to study for many reasons. Everyone finds their own reason for learning history and I can have knowledge to pass on to the FUTURE GENERATIONS..4:00PM

hello ma'am, i believe in your opinion that we must celebrate and go to cemetery this All Souls Day so that we show to them that we love them specially to those who need our mercy and love. You know ma'am i believe in ghost, many people say that ghost is not true but as of my own observation ghost is true. they are there beside seeing us where ever we are, where ever we go. You know ma'am i am scared of them, i don't want to talk with them because i have a phobia about this kind of stories and anything. I love your posts, it would help us motivated or grammar and speaking skills that we have. Once again ma'am thank you.

My reaction with regards to this article is that, since we are Filipino, and we are living in this country therefore we have to know and identify the importance of those people who spent their lives just to make this country free from those foreign country as our highness and make Filipino people as their slaves even though we are the owner the land of Philippines.
History is an important subject for me, through this we can show our appreciation to our heroes, coz i believe that without them we are not living this way right now without their heroiness just to save our country from the parrot...As a Nursing student I can apply being a hero to my patients during my duty, even outside the hospitals or school campus in a way that taking care of them and help those in need as long as i can...
